Life Hub – Award-Winning and Unique

Our Kraków development, Life Hub on Kujawska Street, has earned the recognition of experts, as evidenced by numerous awards in prestigious architectural and ecological competitions.

The project received widespread acclaim within the architectural community, notably being featured in an article on the esteemed portal The Art of Architecture (Life Hub – a brick deck-access building). Experts and critics alike agree that Life Hub is not only an aesthetic success but, above all, a highly successful example of sustainable urban densification.

Awards for Life Hub:

• Brick Award 2023 – distinction in the "Living Together" category. The jury praised the skillful integration of the building into a challenging plot within a historic quarter, as well as the friendly, intimate common spaces whose atmosphere is enhanced by ceramics. The design by URBA Architects was among the strict finalists of the best structures in the country.
  In its justification, the jury of the Polish edition of the Wienerberger Brick Award wrote: "Attractive places for living and recreation have been created, appropriately highlighting natural values. In addition to preserving the existing greenery, a number of pro-ecological solutions have been proposed, such as a vertical garden and extensive greening on the roofs."
• Salon Architektury Małopolska (2022) – 1st place awarded by the Regional Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland, proving the exceptional architectural quality of the project in the region.
• PLGBC Green Building Awards (2022) – a distinction from the Polish Green Building Council, confirming compliance with the highest ecological standards.

What makes Life Hub such a unique investment?

The project on Kujawska Street proves that modern residential architecture can develop in the heart of the city with full respect for the existing urban fabric, history, and nature:

• Model urban fabric densification: Life Hub is a successful example of so-called infill development. It shows how to thoughtfully and seamlessly introduce a new, multi-family function inside an older downtown quarter, enriching the neighborhood instead of overwhelming it.
• Architecture that "disappears" into the greenery: It utilizes the "deck-access" (gallery) typology, which is rare in our climate. Four fragmented blocks fit perfectly into the surroundings, making the building visually blend with the mature trees, which were preserved to the maximum possible extent.
• Eco-friendly infrastructure: A vertical garden was designed on the facades. The building is also equipped with nesting boxes for birds and bats, as well as insect-friendly vegetation.
