The Wola Village development received a distinction in this year's edition of the nationwide Green Building Awards, organized by the Polish Green Building Council (PLGBC). The aim of this event is to identify and promote the best practices in sustainable construction and green architecture in Poland.
About the Green Building Awards
Organized by PLGBC, the competition evaluates construction projects based on their environmental impact and their promotion of innovation within the construction sector. Awards and distinctions are granted to developments characterized by high energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction, and a commitment to user well-being, thereby setting standards for the development of modern urbanized areas.
Wola Village – A Green Development
Wola Village is a sustainable single-family residential housing project. The development is built on the concept of integrating modern architecture with pro-ecological solutions. The project's main parameters include:
Minimizing the impact on the local ecosystem,
Implementing technical solutions that optimize energy and resource consumption,
Ensuring a high standard and comfort of living space utilization.
The PLGBC distinction confirms the successful implementation of the Urba Group's strategy, which focuses on adopting environmentally and socially responsible construction standards.
In awarding the distinction to the development, the jury praised its innovative character and alignment with the eco-village concept, (…) the use of prefabrication, high energy efficiency, a ventilation system with HEPA filters, photovoltaic panels, and heat pumps. Health-promoting and social solutions represent another key element.
The architectural concept of the Wola Village development was designed by the Urba Architects studio. During the official final gala, architect Michał Daniszewski accepted the distinction on behalf of the entire Urba Group team. This title positions the development as a benchmark example of green residential construction in Poland.
The estate is pre-certified under the "Green House" (Zielony Dom) system at level one.
